I started the Georgia Mae Lucius Foundation to honor my grandmother’s legacy and to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged families and improving the lives of at-risk youth in Chicago, IL.

Our work is rooted in the belief that everyone needs to feel seen, supported, and confident. By providing essential resources shoes, personal care items, and other essential resources, we help students walk into school with dignity and the tools they need to thrive.

What began as a small act of care has grown into a movement of hope and opportunity. Through partnerships with schools, volunteers, and community members, we aim to create ripples of change that extend far beyond the classroom. Every step we take together empowers children to believe in themselves, embrace their potential, and dream bigger than ever before.
